Grades and applications
Steel billets are semi-finished products used as input for rolling mills producing reinforcing bars, wire rod and other long steel products. Common trade enquiries refer to 3SP, 4SP or 5SP grades. The grade name must be checked against actual chemical composition, surface criteria and the buyer's rolling requirements.
Square cross-sections in the 100 × 100 mm to 150 × 150 mm range may be discussed, but availability, lengths, mill source and inspection must be confirmed for each order.
Steel billet price factors
A meaningful billet price enquiry identifies grade, dimensions, quantity, production source, dispatch location, required test certificates, delivery destination and payment terms. The final price may change with steelmaking costs, transport, inspection and market conditions.
There is no live or guaranteed billet price on this website. A written quotation is issued only after checking the request against actual sourcing conditions.
Export and delivery conditions
For steel billet exports, specify destination country, shipment method, target schedule and applicable commercial delivery basis. The material certificate, any independent inspection, packing method and customs documentation should be agreed between buyer and seller.
Billets are different from wide, flat steel slabs. If your mill produces plate or coil, review the steel slab product guide rather than assuming billet is the correct feedstock.
Price and export questions
Are live prices or stocks guaranteed? No. A written commercial quotation is available only after confirmation of the material specification, source, quantity, destination and terms. Share your grade, dimensions, required certificates, tonnage and named delivery point with the trading team.
